Larkin ’24 needs an army of volunteers to provide an amazing experience for all our participants and leaders. The 500 acre site starts as a green field and becomes a village.
By joining the team you will be part of a unique experience, that gives you the opportunity to meet people from many different backgrounds, different experiences and make friendships that will will last a lifetime.

If you are aged 16 - 18 (at the time of the event) you can apply to join our Youth Media Team. Being part of the Youth Media Team is suitable to help you with your King’s Scout Award, Queen’s Guide Award or the Residential clause of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. You must be current members of Scouting or Guiding and must have a valid DBS. If you are not currently a member then please apply and we will support you to complete any relevant training and a DBS check

To support the design and delivery of the recruitment strategy for Larkin 24 and to ensure that volunteers are recruited and selected to staff the event.
Sub Camp Team Member

To support the Sub Camp Leader with the planning and delivery of quality support to contingent leader and participants and to ensure the overall theme of the event is undertaken in the sub camps
14 – 18 Programme Manager

This role will be responsible for planning and delivering a high quality, balanced programme for the young people aged 14 – 18. The 14 – 18 programme forms part of the core content of Larkin and will see the young people go offsite for 2 days on their own adventure.

The Contractor Liaison Lead will primarily work with on-site (overnight) contractors while creating exceptional service from the beginning to the end of the event. They are responsible for enforcing the Jamboree rules and regulations.
Oversee the effective operation of the Contractor-Camp at Larkin ’24 including pre and post event support.
Electrical Supply Team Member
Job Title: Electrical Supply Team Member
Reporting to: Electrical Team Leader
The Electrical Team role is focussed on maintaining the electrical power infrastructure, safety, usability, and quality across the site for the duration of the set-up and presentation of the event. Key roles involve the commissioning and de-commission of electrical power supplies, as well as the preparation and execution of the appropriate safety regulations
County Stores Lead
Job Title: County Stores Lead
Reporting to: Supplies and Warehouse Manager
To act as the lead in managing the County stores used for the Jamboree from the County Stores. Working with the Larkin wider team prior to the Jamboree and the County Stores team to ensure all County stores allocated to Jamboree are correctly distributed and accounted for.
