Role Overview

Site Operations which covers Safety, Security, Welfare, Site Communications and Sub Camps is looking for a Deputy Head of Site Operations Manager.

The role will work closely with the Head of Site Operations on agreed areas, work with the rest of the team and ensure that both Scout and Girlguiding policies and regulations are complied with.

Person Specification

• Have experience at large jamborees
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to identify challenges and work through problem-solving solutions in a pressurised environment
• Good decision-making skills
• The ability to work collaboratively 

Skills / Qualifications Required for role

• An understanding of Health and Safety requirements
• Friendly and approachable
• Ability to see the bigger picture

General

• To hold a valid Scout Association DBS check
• To undertake any relevant training you are requested to complete, including but not limited to Health & Safety and Safeguarding
• To undertake any role / work which may be required by your department head
• When requested, to assist in the smooth and safe running of the camp as a whole. This may include tasks not normally associated with your department
• Able to work collaboratively with a team
• Friendly and approachable
• The ability to have fun!!
