Role Overview

We are looking for people to join the Programme team to help support the programme at Larkin in a variety of different areas. As part of this team, each day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in many areas of the programme. You don’t need any specific skills to be part of the team, just the ability to be flexible, be able to get stuck in to anything and have fun in the process. 

In the Programme team, you could have the opportunity to get involved in the following areas: 

· Programme support – anything from inflatables and adventurous activities, to assisting some of our commercial providers. 

· Stage support – anything from crowd management to helping support the lunchtime and evening activities. 

· Little Larkin support (4-10 year olds) – anything from inflatables to running activities to supporting our commercial providers. 

· Craft Team – helping run a variety of crafts in our craft tent. 

Please indicate in your application any experience you have running programme and your preference in where you would like to support. Please note, you may be required to help in all areas listed above.

Person Specification

• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to problem solve and work within a large team to achieve a common goal
• Some knowledge on running programme on a large scale camp (not essential)

Skills / Qualifications Required for role

• No specific experience is required. 
• Friendly and approachable

General

• To hold a valid Scout Association DBS check
• To undertake any relevant training you are requested to complete, including but not limited to Health & Safety and Safeguarding
• To undertake any role / work which may be required by your department head
• When requested, to assist in the smooth and safe running of the camp as a whole. This may include tasks not normally associated with your department
• Able to work collaboratively with a team
• Friendly and approachable
